If you are still studying and you have not started working yet. This is the best time to really sit down and start thinking about looking for that perfect job. Most teenagers do not really think about what they intend to do after they are done with school. There are times when the subjects that you are studying right now, doesn’t really interest you. You are taking those subjects to make up for grades to get into a better school. What happens when school is over and you enter into adulthood? All the subjects that you have studied and all the grades you have achieved might have nothing to do with your job.
Many people don’t realize that they have actually stumbled on jobs for necessity, instead of enjoyment and passion. I’m sure that every kid will dream in their childhood to become policemen or firefighters. The sad truth is that not every kid will be able to fulfill their dreams. I have friends that have been thinking about being pilots who are stuck behind a desk. Ask yourself the question if this is the “Dream” job that you are looking for.
I will advise anyone who has not entered into the workforce, to think about where their passion is. This is not something to take lightly. The main reasons why people do not enjoy what they are doing and quit after a few months are due to this. Without passion and enjoyment any job that you are doing will seem like a hassle. You will not be looking to improve the way you work or think about working those extra hours. After being stuck in the rut for a few months, you will most probably quit. So don’t put it off another day and really think about what your passions are, before looking for that perfect job.
